Personalised Education Team (PET) – Keyworker
We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic Student Key Worker to join our PET Staff team. Experience needed of working with young people with complex needs and working closely with young people’s families and partner agencies will be an advantage. You must hold a current, valid driving license and business insurance cover is a requirement for the post.
In this role, you will fully participate in the life of the school, assisting where needed, supporting our most vulnerable pupils. We want candidates who are able to see the possibilities of all our exceptional learners and to develop a provision to make them thrive.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to support children and be educated to National Qualifications Framework Level 3 standard, e.g. NVQ 3, A/AS levels or equivalent. Candidates are asked to link their skills and experience to address each point on the Person Specification in their application.

Southern Cross is a Special School for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. We have recently expanded our provision and now have a brand new building which has been designed to deliver our therapeutic vision.
