Kitchen Assistant job summary
As a Kitchen Assistant in our school, each day you will help to prepare and serve meals and snacks for our young people. Working in a friendly team under the guidance of a Cook, you will make sure our kitchens and canteen areas are clean and ready for busy break and lunchtimes.
The working hours are 15 hours each week on a rota basis between the hours of 10:30am and 1:30 pm Monday to Friday during the school term. You will also be paid for an additional an additional 15 hours per year in the school holidays, to help carry out deep cleans of the kitchen areas. Your actual salary is £7,054.96 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month. This position is fixed term until 21st July 2023
