What skills and experience we're looking for

We are a fairly small school just outside High Wycombe with loads of outside space (approximately 3 acres!) and bright airy classrooms. We are currently building our numbers up which means our Key Stage 1 classes are really quite small.

We are looking for a Year 1 teacher who understands the importance of continuous provision within Key Stage 1 for our twelve amazing Year 1 children.

As a smaller school, we work closely as a team and are interested in supporting each other’s professional development. We have worked hard on our curriculum and can provide support for our subject champions by working in one of our three curriculum teams – you are not alone!

We are particularly interested in using evidence-based research to inform our approaches to teaching and learning. We can offer interesting, relevant and valuable CPD to the successful applicant as we want to ensure all our staff feel valued and rewarded in the work they do.
