A sound knowledge of the National Curriculum and Development Matters.

A willingness to work on feedback and a confidence to try out new teaching strategies.

Creative and stimulating teaching strategies which engage and motivate pupils.

The ability to work well with teaching assistants, using their skills to develop a great classroom ethos.

Further details about the role

This role is for a part time class teacher for our mixed age KS1 class, sharing the job with a more experienced teacher.

The successful candidate will be employed for 4 days per week, Tuesday to Friday, (0.8 FTE).

The contract will be fixed term for two years, with a possibility of a permanent contract in the future.

At the moment, we envisage the successful candidate will teach KS1 for 2 or possibly 3 days. The other days mayinclude working with groups or teaching other classes. Arrangements TBC.

If you are an ECT, we are committed to your development and will be working with John Taylor MAT to aid your progression and understanding. You will receive dedicated release time as well as PPA.
