What the school offers its staff

We are looking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated teacher to join our dedicated, creative and supportive team of staff at our small school set in a stunning village location close to Bishop's Stortford and Buntingford.

Teaching and support staff work seamlessly together in a highly positive learning environment and pupils thrive. We are proud of our pupils' excellent behaviour and attitudes to learning. We enjoy close working partnerships with local schools in Bishop's Stortfordand all staff benefit from these links. Staff are encouraged to develop as professionals and are given opportunities and supportto take part in national research projects.

Further details about the role

This will be a part-time, fixed term appointment to cover a staff member's absence. Commencing from 6th November 2024, unless an earlier start can be facilitated, until 4th April 2025 with the possibility of extension or alternative opportunities at the school. The role will be in Key Stage 1 in a mixed-age Year 1 / 2 class of 26 children for four days per week; Monday plus Wednesday to Friday.
