KS1 class teacher job summary
Our headteacher and supportive governing body are looking to recruit an aspirational and energetic class teacher to teach in our friendly school in our Year 1/2 class of 10 pupils. We welcome applications from ECTs, as well as experienced teachers, and we can accommodate flexibility with start dates (any time from April - September) and also the potential for teaching part time (3 or 4 days a week). For those looking to start their ECT career in September, we are also able to offer a start date before July, once trainees have finished their university studies, enabling pay over the summer holidays. For ECTS, we offer strong support – an experienced mentor whom you will meet weekly during dedicated release time; an excellent training programme using materials from the ECF; regular observations of experienced colleagues, including visits to other schools.
