KS1 Class Teacher job summary

We are looking for a passionate and inspiring qualified Class Teacher to join our supportive and talented team at Minerva Primary Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning. This is a full time and fixed term position to cover maternity leave.

Minerva Primary Academy is a school, according to one child who when speaking to an OFSTED inspector in July 2018 said, "Minerva is a school where it is ok to be different". We are very proud to be an inclusive school with children from all backgrounds making good progress regardless of their starting points. We believe that children must be happy in school so they can achieve their best. We are very proud of how well we provide for those children with additional needs and have been praised by outside agencies for excelling in this area.

What we are looking for:
To be successful in the post, we are looking for a Class Teacher who wants to be a part of transforming education and will make an active contribution to the development of the Cabot Learning Federation and chosen Academy. You will be used to planning and consistently delivering high quality lessons, will have experience in delivering the curriculum in your chosen area and will be a strong communicator with the ability to embrace change and motivate colleagues and students. A well-qualified specialist, holding QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, you will have the ability to teach KS1. We look for professional’s who have excellent class management skills and have high expectations of work and behaviour.
