Qualifications and experience:

  • Qualified teacher status
  • Successful primary teaching experience

Skills and knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies
  • A good understanding of how children learn
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils’ needs
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils
  • Knowledge of guidance and requirements around safeguarding children
  • Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies
  • Good ICT skills, particularly using ICT to support learning

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher who shines brightly in all they do.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Is experienced in identifying, monitoring, evaluating and providing effective strategies for all pupils so that they can shine brightly
  • Works well within a team environment where everyone is valued and encouraged to shine brightly

  • Help others in your team to shine brightly
  • Shine brightly with your positive attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment to safeguarding

In accordance with Section 236 of KCSiE, September 2022, this role meets the definition of Regulated Activity and an enhanced DBS check with children’s barred list information will be undertaken prior to commencement of employment.

This check provides information about convictions, cautions, reprimands, and warnings held on the Police National Computer, plus additional information held by police such as interviews and allegations and an additional check about whether the candidate appears on the children’s barred list. Additional information will only be disclosed where a chief police officer reasonably believes it to be relevant and considers that it should be disclosed.
