KS1 Classroom Teaching Assistant job summary
Main Purpose of the Role:
We are looking to appoint an individual with exisiting experience of working in a school setting to support our learners in KS1. You will play a crucial role in supporting the children’s learning both in whole class and small group/individual situations. You will liaise with the class teacher and work as part of a strong team to provide a robust school experience for our children. This role consists of supporting the children every morning, over lunch time, and two afternoons a week, making up the 24 hours and is term-time only.

Contract type: Fixed term contract – one year in the first instance
Working time: 24 hours per week. Term time only
Role: General Teaching Assistant in KS1 or KS2, with wellbeing focus
Salary: Level 2D point 4 to 6 (£11,966 to £12,707)
