KS1 General Learning Support Assistant - Ilminster Avenue E-ACT Primary Academy

Ilminster Avenue E-ACT Academy are looking for x2 full time Learning Support Assistants to help develop the social, emotional and educational needs of pupils in our Key Stage 1 group.
We are seeking to appoint highly motivated and enthusiastic people who are able to demonstrate the skills required to be effective in this important role:
Able to inspire and support children to become active, independent thinkers and learners.
A person who has a strong belief in the effectiveness of team work.
Able to positively promote inclusion and have high expectations for all children.
Able to work effectively as part of a team and establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
Experience of working in KS1 and supporting small groups of children under teacher's direction including children with SEND on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis.
The two positions advertised are full time and are fixed term until 31/08/2022. The actual salary on offer is £13,710.05 (full time equivalent £19,312) based on 30 hours per week (08:30-15:30 Monday to Friday)
The successful candidate must have a minimum of Maths & English GCSEs A-C or equivalent and a Level 2 TA qualification, however a Level 3 TA qualification is desirable.
