KS1 Teacher and Early Reading Leader job summary

Atlas Academy has an exciting opportunity for a KS1 Teacher and Early Reading Leader to join their team!

As KS1 Teacher and Early Reading Leader you will:

• Maintain a high standard of quality care and education through an excellent balanced, varied, and exciting curriculum.
• Be an active and effective part of the team, who promotes the welfare and development of our pupils.
• Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning of the RWI and Fresh Start phonics programmes.
• Lead and manage arrangements for preparing our pupils for the Phonics Screening Check.
• Ensure the successful organisation and delivery of RWI and Fresh Start phonics lessons

We are looking for:

• A qualified teacher with recent and successful teaching experience across the primary phase, preferably in Key Stage 1.
• Significant experience of delivering the RWI phonics programme
• Commitment to continued professional development.
• An understanding of the importance of the processes of planning, monitoring and evaluation as an aid to raising standards.
