KS1 Teacher and TLR2a for Early Reading Leader job summary
Atlas Academy has an exciting opportunity for a KS1 Teacher and Early Reading Leader to join their team!
As KS1 Teacher and Early Reading Leader you will:
- Maintain a high standard of quality care and education through an excellent balanced, varied, and exciting curriculum.
- Be an active and effective part of the team, who promotes the welfare and development of our pupils.
- Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning of the RWI and Fresh Start phonics programmes.
- Lead and manage arrangements for preparing our pupils for the Phonics Screening Check.
- Ensure the successful organisation and delivery of RWI and Fresh Start phonics lessons
We are looking for:
- A qualified teacher with recent and successful teaching experience across the primary phase, preferably in Key Stage 1.
- Significant experience of delivering the RWI phonics programme
- Commitment to continued professional development.
- An understanding of the importance of the processes of planning, monitoring and evaluation as an aid to raising standards.
