Brocklewood Primary School is an exciting place to work with a large staff of friendly and hardworking people who are dedicated to making a difference to the lives of children and families from one of the most deprived areas in Nottingham.
The school is part of Transform Trust, a group of schools where we share good practice, ideas and workload and are willing to give new ideas a go. We are also active members of the Transform Teaching School Alliance and therefore have access to high quality CPD for staff at all levels, including leadership development and coaching.The school was inspected in September 2017 and is “good” in all areas. This is an exciting time to join our forward-thinking team and to help shape further improvements beyond good.
We are looking to recruit an excellent teacher to work in partnership with colleagues in Key Stage 1 and teach a Year 1 class. The successful candidate will be well-supported by the KS1 team of experienced and early-career teachers and TAs.
This is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave until 28 November 2022 or sooner should the post holder return from maternity leave earlier

We are proud to be a Music Hub School and have recently been successful in achieving Voice21 Hub School status for our work on oracy. PE and Sport is also a strength of our school and we have achieved School Games Gold status for the past two years and are regularly in the top 3 schools for participation in sporting events in the city.

• Care passionately about children and their development whilst still driving forward pupil progress and achievement.

• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build on and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and carers, children, governors and the local and wider community.
