KS1 Teacher job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative teacher to cover a maternity leave in one of our KS1 classes.
The successful candidate will:
-Display high standards in teaching
-Demonstrate flexibility and enthusiasm
-Teach in KS1in the first instance
-Have high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour
-Have a passion for teaching and learning and be able to model a range of styles.
-Be part of a highly successful team.
-Will support or lead a subject area where appropriate
-Will develop an area of interest within school.

Burnopfield Primary School is a large, successful, vibrant and forward thinking school with a Nursery, situated in North West Durham on the boundary with Gateshead. The school serves the village of Burnopfield and also draws children from outlying villages.
