What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint someone who:

• Has experience of working in KS1 and/or Reception
• Shows dedication and has high expectations
• Shows a clear understanding of what effective teaching and learning looks like
• Has strong subject knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum and awareness of the Early Years Framework

• Understands the importance of reading and ‘Phonics First, Phonics Fast’
• Is able to work well as part of a team and is organised
