Twerton Infant School and Nursery is a 2-form entry infant school with an onsite Nursery for 2 and 3 year olds. We are an LA Maintained school and we work closely with 5 other primary schools in BANES within the South Gloucester Learning Alliance, which provides wide-ranging support and CPD. The school has a long-established reputation for being both inclusive and responsive to children’s individual needs.

Our recent OFSTED inspection rated the whole school as Good.

We have an excellent on-site Forest School, providing fantastic outdoor learning for all children, including those with additional needs. We also follow the Thrive approach, which supports children’s wellbeing and mental health. Our motto is ‘Twerton Infant School - the School that Cares’ and this is embedded in everything we do.
