KS1 Teacher job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilful classroom practitioner to join our dedicated and hardworking team as a KS1 class teacher. Early Careers Teachers (ECT) are welcome and also encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will need:
• excellent classroom skills and a secure knowledge of KS1 curriculum
• high expectations of children’s progress with a commitment to continuing high standards
• the ability to respond to behaviour in a positive manner with resilience and sensitivity
• to be well organised
• to be flexible and willing to adapt
• to be an effective communicator
• the ability to work as a team with ambition to learn, develop and share pedagogy

We are set in a small village 2 miles north of Stowmarket and currently have 87 pupils on roll. Our accommodation comprises of a mix of traditional Victorian buildings and a sympathetic modern extension. We are fortunate to have extensive outdoor grounds and our own environmental area.
