KS1 Teacher- Year 1 maternity cover job summary
We are looking to appoint a Key Stage 1/Year 1 teacher to join our warm, welcoming and successful school for a maternity post which is expected to be for 12 months.
The post is expected to start after Easter (Monday 25th April although it could be earlier than this, depending on when the maternity leave begins)
We welcome applicants from all stages of their career development from ECT upwards. For ECTs, we have a comprehensive package with Potentia and a nominated mentor in school to support. For more experienced teachers, we can offer opportunities to develop subject leadership skills or the opportunity to gain one of the qualifications through NPQL.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a love of teaching, be an outstanding classroom practitioner, very knowledgeable in the teaching of phoncis and be committed to the school’s ethos of high expectations, high standards, teamwork, creativity and positive relationships. You should also be a nurturing teacher as well as someone who is willing and eager to join in the wide range of enrichment activities that we offer our pupils.
