Chipstead Valley is part of PACE Academy Trust, a partnership of 5 primary schools, each unique in identity, working collaboratively to provide education and care to our children in happy, inclusive and inspiring environments. We currently have two schools in Mitcham (Merton) and three schools in the south of the borough of Croydon.
In PACE Academy Trust we enjoy and celebrate the differences between each of our primary schools, recognising that they each have wonderful strengths to share and good practice to learn from. We value the diversity that our schools bring to the trust - from their different sizes to their varied locations and contexts. Our school communities are all different from one another.

Chipstead Valley is a three-form entry primary school, with a thriving Nursery and an Enhanced Learning Provision for children with physical and complex medical needs. We are situated in a beautiful spot on the border of Croydon and Surrey with our buildings set in leafy grounds, which include a swimming pool, woodlands and our very own chickens! The proportion of disadvantaged pupils supported by the pupil premium is lower than the national average. The proportion of pupils with SEND is lower than the national average. The proportion of pupils who speak English as an additional language is below the national average. We have a wide range of ethnic backgrounds in our school. Our biggest ethnic group is of White British children (53.4%) and our largest minority ethnic groups are Indian (6.5%) and Pakistani (3.3%).
Our children enjoy a wide range of enriching activities as part of everyday school life and through our clubs and extra-curricular activities, before and after school. We are fortunate to have a specialist music teacher and sports coach, as well as specialist facilities for art and design technology and a newly installed sensory room. We are particularly proud of our immersive technology suite, which enables children to access the world around them without leaving the school building, visiting the Amazon rainforest, the Sahara and even going back in time to Ancient Egypt.
