KS2 0.6 Class Teacher job summary
Will you join us to deliver our vision – ‘Respect, Believe, Succeed’? Book a visit to our school to see us in action!
Are you an outstanding teacher who has the drive and expertise to support our children to thrive?
We want to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated part time teacher to join our small Church of England school. You would be working closely with a supportive, staff team to help lead our small, mixed age KS2 class. This would be a great opportunity for an ECT or a teacher in the early stages of their career, as there is scope for development within our supportive Trust.
Our small school has a strong Christian ethos where everyone is welcome. Adults and children from all faiths and backgrounds work together to high standards and are encouraged to achieve their potential.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff to share this commitment and to undergo appropriate checks, including enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks and employment will be subject to acceptable references.
As part of safer recruitment guidance, CVs, without accompanying application forms, cannot be considered.
We are looking for a teacher who :
- Enjoys working independently as well as within a team
- Is willing to lead and develop subjects within our school
- Is a dynamic and passionate KS2 teacher
- Has the ability to develop strong relationships with parents and our wider community
- Goes 'the extra mile' to help our children and our school succeed.
We can offer a supportive, friendly staff team and parent community, well behaved and inquisitive children, a values-based behaviour approach and a nurturing work environment with plenty of opportunities for CPD.
We warmly welcome visits from applicants prior to the closing date.
