KS2 Class Teacher job summary

The governing body of Broad Oak Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic new teacher who is committed to improving outcomes for children, and relishes the opportunity to work in a school where inclusion for all drives everything that we do.

The successful candidate must have:
• QTS
• Teaching experience with the age range 7-11
• Experience of teaching EAL learners

The successful candidate will be able to:
• Create a stimulating and safe learning environment.
• Plan, prepare and deliver the curriculum in a creative way, as relevant to the age and ability group that you teach
• Assess and record the progress of pupils’ learning to inform next steps and monitor progress.
• Evidence accelerated progress as a result of your teaching
• Demonstrate a commitment to equal opportunities and use a variety of strategies and practices to promote the diverse equality issues in the classroom.
• Teach using a wide variety of strategies to maximise achievement for all children including those with SEN and G&T pupils to meet differing learning styles.
