KS2 Class Teacher job summary
We are offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the further development of the school, as part of the Federation with Romans Field and Priory Common schools, and of learning and teaching in order to further improve standards and attainment.
If you are seeking a new challenge and want to make a real difference to the lives of our pupils, we look forward to hearing from you. This position is suitable for either an NQT or an experienced teacher. We have a proven track record of supporting staff in achieving career progression.
Our new KS2 Teacher will want to work in a school which is ambitious for our pupils and where professional development is important for all. Depending on experience, the successful candidate may undertake a subject leadership role. He/she will plan and deliver class, group and individualised programmes of learning and manage the work of teaching assistants. Experience of teaching year 6 will be an advantage although it is not essential.

The successful applicant will have or has the potential to have:
· a successful track record;
· excellent knowledge of the curriculum;
· knowledge of personalised learning strategies to enable children to make accelerated progress
