What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Honours degree related to Primary Education or a curriculum subject.
  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Evidence of sustained participation in INSET/CPD.
  • Experience of teaching in KS2
  • Demonstrable evidence of high standards of class teaching.
  • Experience of managing teaching resources.
  • Experience of working with children from a variety of backgrounds and/or vulnerable groups of pupils.

The school takes its name from the legendary composer Sir Malcolm Arnold. Born in Northampton in 1921, he was one of the leading figures in 20th-century classical music and helped to establish the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
