Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher ready to make a real impact in the classroom? At Hexthorpe Primary Academy, we’re looking for an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join our vibrant team on a full-time maternity cover basis.

You’ll play a key role in shaping the learning journey of our pupils—helping them grow in confidence, curiosity, and achievement.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Delivering creative, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge all learners
- Setting high expectations and promoting positive progress for every pupil
- Using assessment to inform teaching and support individual development
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and drive improvement
- Supporting the wider life of the school and contributing to a strong school community
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about teaching and learning in Key Stage Two
- Has strong subject knowledge and a commitment to inclusive education
- Can adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Is reflective, resilient, and ready to grow professionally

Hexthorpe Primary school is a very large and expanding school situated in the village of Hexthorpe, close to Balby and Doncaster city centre.
Our aim is to provide a stimulating, safe and caring environment where we can develop children academically, socially, emotionally and creatively so that they have the necessary knowledge, skills and ability to thrive as they mature and grow.
