KS2 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover) job summary
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher to join our village school for a fixed term to cover maternity leave. We are looking for an excellent practitioner with experience of teaching a mixed KS2 class who is able to uphold our Christian values and willing to contribute to the wider life of our lovely school.
We seek applications from candidates therefore who have:
- High expectations of all pupils and the ability to motivate and inspire them
- An excellent working knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum expectations for KS2
- Experience of mixed-age teaching and learning
- An interest in, or experience of leading PE throughout the school
- A willingness to be involved in all aspects of life in our village school
- The experience, skills and personal aspiration to be an outstanding classroom practitioner
- Commitment, resilience, initiative and good organisational skills
