WHO ARE WE?
Polehampton CE Infant School and Polehampton CE Junior School are separate two-form-entry schools across two sites, which operate with one Senior Leadership Team and one Local Governing Body. The Polehampton schools are set within large grounds and have excellent opportunities for the pupils, including a swimming pool at the Junior site and Forest School provision at both sites. Both schools are proud members of The Keys Academy Trust. Our Infant school was recently rated Good by Ofsted (with an Outstanding Early Years), and our Junior school was inspected in November 2024 and achieved Good in all areas.
KEY DETAILS ABOUT THE ROLES
- KS2 class teachers sought
- September 2025 start
- Full time, permanent role
- 5 days per week (1.0FTE) strongly preferred, but may consider a 3 /4 day option for an exceptional candidate
- Phase Lead role available for the right candidate – please state on your application if you wish to be considered for this position.

All teachers are welcome to apply (including ECTs). Therefore, salary is M1 to M6 based on experience. We may also consider applications from an exceptional candidate who is currently on the UP scales.

WHAT TYPE OF PERSON ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking a passionate, hardworking and committed teacher to join our exciting team. The successful candidate must be an excellent classroom practitioner. We are proud of our nurturing environment and high standards (in class and out of class), and therefore are looking for someone with the following qualities:
- A strong teaching practitioner who has experience in Key Stage 2 or has relevant transferable skills (i.e. skills in KS1) and who is looking to take on a new challenge in a new year group.
- Someone who is committed to doing what it takes to help secure the best outcomes for pupils.
- A team player who enjoys working as part of a strong, supportive group and who thrives on being part of a hard-working environment.
- A commitment to the highest standards of achievement and behaviour.
- Someone who is an excellent communicator, who is committed to building strong relationships with all stakeholders.
All our successful applicants will be expected to embrace life as a ‘primary school’ across two sites (including travelling between sites).
