The Role
St Andrew’s are looking for an experienced teacher to join our happy and successful school. We would like to appoint someone that is Primary trained although the post will be within KS2 to begin with. As we are a one form entry, all teachers have responsibility for subject leadership. The current postholder is our Maths lead and an interest in this would be desirable but not essential. Please state in your application your experience of subject leadership or your areas of subject leader interest alongside detail of the year groups that you have taught.

- An outstanding and reflective classroom practitioner
- Positive with excellent communications skills, emotional intelligence and a good sense of humour
- Passionate about learning and plans a curriculum to inspire children
- Able to lead a subject across the school
- Able to achieve high standards of progress and behaviour of their pupils
- Committed to inclusion and able to recognise and nurture every child’s academic and personal development
- Experienced in assessment and feedback strategies
- Resilient and prepared to go that extra mile to make a difference for our children
- Supportive of the Christian ethos of the school

Our School
St Andrew’s is a church school in the village of Congresbury. We are blessed with the most wonderful grounds that are spacious and full of opportunities in which to grow and learn, with St Andrew’s Church overlooking our youngest children’s playground.
The most recent Ofsted inspection, January 2018, saw the school maintain its good judgement. The Trust
The Lighthouse Schools Partnership (LSP) is a Multi-Academy Trust which has experienced rapid growth since it started in 2016. There are currently 30 schools in the Trust.
