Full Time, Permanent Contract

Expectations of the role:
• Teacher - including planning, teaching and assessing whole classes and small groups of pupils
• Contribution to personal, academy and Trust development through reflective and collaborative approaches
The successful candidate will:
• Be highly motivated, with an ability to demonstrate excellent classroom practice
• Be committed to raising standards and ensuring children achieve their best

Classroom practitioner with experience across KS1/KS2
Possess a sound understanding of National Curriculum subjects and statutory requirements
Monitoring and assessment, recording and reporting of pupils’ progress including to parents
Statutory requirements of legislation concerning equal opportunities, health and safety, SEND, safeguarding and child protection
Effective teaching and learning strategies
To have knowledge of the theory and practice of providing effectively for the individual needs for all pupils
Child centred philosophy
Abreast of current educational thinking, research and initiatives, nationally and locally
