KS2 Class Teacher job summary

We wish to appoint a high-quality Class Teacher for Key stage 2 from January 2024.  If you are committed to striving to improve the outcomes and opportunities of every pupil, this is the opportunity for you!

The successful candidate will be a highly effective classroom practitioner who has a commitment to improving outcomes for all children.  You will be passionate about teaching and learning and dedicated to ensuring that every child flourishes. This post is an excellent opportunity for both newly qualified and more experienced teachers.

Visits to the school are strongly encouraged; you will see our core value of striving to be the best version of ourselves, in the eyes of God, lived throughout the school by all, children and staff.  You will feel a calm and purposeful environment and meet children who are confident and happy to share and discuss their learning.

Regardless of starting point and background, we aim to enthuse, inspire and challenge all our pupils with a stimulating and relevant curriculum. We ensure that all our pupils are challenged and supported equally so they make progress and are equipped with the knowledge, skills and understanding to enable them to step into next phase of their education with confidence. We have high expectations of all our pupils and aim for the very highest standards in all areas of learning.

We care for each and every one of our pupils and place a huge emphasis on the pastoral care and support we offer to all children and families in our communities. We recognise that education goes beyond the academic and we put the necessary time and resources into trying to ensure all children’s needs are met so they are ready to learn and can flourish every day.
