Horsmonden Primary Academy is a vibrant school, very much at the heart of its community. Our 200+ children are happy, enthusiastic and keen to learn and take part in everything. We teach a wide, balanced curriculum, founded on children’s ambitions and aspirations. Our school is set in a beautiful village location, and our site has been developed creatively to provide wonderful outdoor learning opportunities. Working with Leigh Academies Trust: As of September 2019, our Trust is comprised of 25 geographically organised academies (11 secondaries, 13 primaries and 1 special) educating over 15,000 students, and employing over 2,500 talented staff. We also have three further academies in development phase, due to open between September 2020-2021. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North West Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training providers and a large teaching school.

KS2 Class Teachers job summary

About the role: Are you looking for a new role starting from September 2020? Horsmonden Primary Academy has three exciting Key Stage 2 Class Teacher opportunities to share with you! We are looking to appoint a Year 3, Year 5 and a Year 6 Class Teacher on a permanent, full time basis. In joining our vibrant and thriving school, you will contribute your energy and vision to drive the academy to achieve its full potential. Key Stage 2 experience is desirable, but you will receive the support and guidance you need to not only develop the school but also your own career within the supportive environment of the Trust.

The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to make a full contribution to their Key Stage, curriculum development and staff teams. We welcome applications from newly qualified teachers, and those with more experience. In return, we will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop their career.
