KS2 Full Time Teacher job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time class teacher for Key Stage 2 pupils. The successful candidate should have recent relevant experience of teaching and assessment in Key Stage 2, dealing with pupils with challenging behaviour and Special Educational Needs and leading whole school developments and/or a key subject area. The teaching commitment is 5 days (Monday to Friday) with PPA and ECT time for any early career teachers, teaching 17 Year 5 and 6 pupils along with leading curriculum areas which can be discussed to align with your passion and strengths.

Threlkeld CofE Primary School is a small primary school situated at the bottom of Blencathra in the heart of the Lake District. We currently have 59 pupils including nursery children. We have recently joined The Good Shepherd Multi Academy Trust.
The school has served the village of Threlkeld and the surrounding area for over 170 years and enjoys much local support in return. We are a friendly, happy and successful school and over the years in response to steadily rising numbers we have extended the school to provide more space and facilities.
