KS2 Learning Support Assistant job summary
Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications and be in the following range:
Scale 15 (£18,562-£18,933) pro rata 30 hours per week, term time only.
Start date: As soon as possible in January 2022
The Role
We are looking for an experienced LSA who is caring, patient and self-motivated, and has a love of learning and is able to enthuse and inspire children. The role will include supporting teaching in Key Stage 2 classrooms and may also include the support of SEND children who have a variety of needs.
If you can provide support to teachers in the learning and personal development of all pupils including SEND pupils, so all our children can make the best use of the educational opportunities available to them, then we would love to hear from you.
The person
The successful candidates will be able to establish positive relationships with all our children, parents and members of staff and will have:
A good standard of education, to GCSE grade C Maths and English together with a qualification relevant to supporting the learning process in school
Previous experience of working with children in an educational setting
Lots of initiative and the ability to work in a team.
A wish to play a full part in the life of the school and uphold our strong values.
