Oak Tree Primary and Nursery School are looking to appoint an outstanding and dynamic teacher to join us and work alongside colleagues who, take pride in encouraging our children to be aspiration, strive for the very best and are committed to making a real difference in our pupils lives, for the following position:
Part time Year 6 Teacher with a proven track record of raising standards in upper Key Stage Two.
Oak Tree school has worked incredibly hard since its last inspection and results in Key Stage 2 doubled last year. We have extremely high standards and offer a very rewarding environment to work in. All staff are encouraged to share their expertise and ideas by working closely with each other. This role would involve working alongside our experienced Year 6 teacher and deputy head by providing SATs booster lessons in English and Maths to some of Year 6 pupils. The role will commence in November and will continue until SATs week. Hours are 9am – 12pm for three mornings a week.
The candidate must possess good communication skills and have the ability to work in a partnership to achieve the best results possible over a set period of time. To be successful in this role you must be able to provide evidence of having a proven track record in raising standards in year 5 or year 6.
Candidates will be required to attend an interview, hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce on the Update Service and also provide references. Please note that all teachers must hold valid QTS
