Sir Robert Geffery's School - A school for enthusiasts where we 'live life in its fullness' (John 10.10) knowing that God is our strength and with His help we will be the best we can.

We are an 'Outstanding' stand alone academy, situated just outside the town of Saltash in South East Cornwall. As a successful Church of England school we work in partnership with the Truro Diocese.

The school has a long history and many traditions. In 2004 we celebrated our Tercentenary, having been founded in 1703 after a legacy from Sir Robert Geffery, who became Master of the Worshipful Company of Ironmongers. The Ironmongers are still fully involved in school life and form part of the governing body.

Sir Robert Geffery's is a busy and thriving learning community, with children at the heart.

In addition to the creative curriculum, we offer a wide range of extra curricular activities, residential visits and trips ensuring enjoyable learning experiences.

The school is fortunate to have a modern, spacious building which is well resourced with books, equipment and a wide range of ICT hardware. It also offers extensive grounds that includes a farm; with Polly the donkey, guinea pigs, chickens and often pigs. Outdoor learning is timetabled weekly, with Forest School sessions also being delivered.
