JOB OVERVIEW
We have an exciting opportunity for an inspirational KS2 Primary Class Teacher to join our highly successful team of mutually supportive colleagues whose shared purpose is to make a positive difference to the aspirations of our students.

Here at Atlantic Academy, Portland we are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, professional and team orientated person. We need a Primary Teacher that understands and can meet the needs of all students. Primary Teaching staff are accompanied across all year groups with Teaching Assistants to ensure that all students access appropriate provisions. Specialist sports and arts coaches work alongside our Primary Teaching staff to ensure a board and balances curriculum is delivered and ample PPA time is allocated to support the needs of a classroom teaching role. Students benefit massively from the all through Academy environment. Experiencing specialist input in Technology, Sports, Science and Art, amongst other things.

You will be part of a successful, supportive, well-resourced and fully qualified Primary team that prides itself on delivering high-quality learning to our students. We encourage best practice through a variety of CPD opportunities. We are looking to appoint a candidate that puts children first, mitigates barriers to learning and has a can-do approach and will help an individual and individuals make academic progress.
