What skills and experience we're looking for
Upperwood Academy is looking to recruit an inspirational teacher for September 2024. Our successful candidate will be a talented and professional individual who shares our vision of high aspirations, achievement, and a passion for learning. They will be prepared to work hard and respond positively to the challenges of day-to-day school life. They will be innovative and creative in their teaching and be a strong team player.

We are looking for a Teacher who:
- Is an exemplary classroom practitioner who will model outstanding practice
- Has a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to high standards of attainment, progress and behaviour
- Will be able to continue to raise standards across the school
- Has the commitment required to work in partnership with parents/carers and the wider school community
- Will work creatively and effectively with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to drive school improvement
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and work as part of a team.
