MPS/UPS + TLR 2 - KS2 Teacher and Maths Lead/Senior Leadership Team
Full-time – Permanent from September 2021
Northfield is looking for an experienced teacher to take on the role of KS2 teacher with maths subject lead and member of the senior leadership team. The talented teacher should have energy and enthusiasm who can inspire children with a love of learning and lead the development of mathematics across the primary school key stages.
The ideal candidate will be an inspirational practitioner with creative and innovative approaches to primary teaching and be able to make maths exciting and a strength of our school.
The post would suit an experienced teacher who may be in the earlier stage of their teaching career but seeking a defined leadership role in addition to their class teaching role.
We are looking for a teacher who:
• demonstrates a clear understanding of what makes good teaching and learning
• inspires and motivates children, staff, parents/carers
• demonstrates a solid understanding of the National Curriculum
• works as part of a wider team to raise levels of aspiration and achievement for all
• shows a commitment to ensuring equality of opportunity for all learners
• is a self motivated and creative practitioner
