A message from the Principal…

As Principal at Outwood Primary Academy Darfield, I am delighted to share with you what makes our academy so special. Nestled in the heart of the village of Darfield, our one-form entry school offers a unique and nurturing learning environment for children.

Darfield retains a strong sense of community, a legacy from its rich history. This close-knit spirit is something we cherish and weave into the fabric of our school. At Outwood Primary Academy Darfield, we believe that a strong partnership between school, home, and the wider community is essential for every child's success.

Being part of the Outwood Family of schools is something we're incredibly proud of at Outwood Primary Academy Darfield. This trust is known for its dedication to raising standards and transforming lives, and that same sense of family and support is at the heart of our academy.

We're a dedicated team, passionate about providing the very best education, nurturing personal development, and ensuring every child reaches their full potential. We believe every interaction matters, and our warm and welcoming community fosters a culture of praise and encouragement, celebrating both big achievements and small steps forward for pupils and staff.
