KS2 teacher and Year leader job summary
St Matthew's Church of England Primary and Nursery Academy is seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Class Teacher and Year leader to support the wider leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make a difference to the provision and development of our pupils. If you are motivated about developing a major aspect of the curriculum across the entire school, raising standards and providing stimulating learning experiences for young minds, we want to hear from you. We are looking for someone who is a great team player, who wants to be involved in all aspects of school life, has a clear vision for excellent practice and is able to lead by example. Please state in your application what your curriculum strengths and interests are.
We are looking for an experienced and outstanding Key Stage 2 class teacher and year lead who has a strong understanding of Primary curriculum, and some leadership experience within their setting, or someone who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will be someone who is able to develop the potential in others, is highly driven and motivated, has an eye for detail, and can work flexibly and creatively. You will be experienced and skillful in challenging each pupil, whatever their starting point, to achieve their potential.
