Class Teacher – Required September 2021
Based at one of our Exeter schools
Applications from NQTs welcome

This is an exciting time to join us at Cornerstone Academy Trust, with schools based on the edge of Exeter in East Devon and in the coastal town of Barnstaple in North Devon. Due to the expansion of the academy trust with new year groups opening at the new schools of Westclyst and Monkerton and the movement of staff within the Trust, we are wishing to recruit in readiness for September a class teacher to be based in Year 2 or one of our KS2 classes in Exeter. This position is required for September 2021 and is initially fixed term until the end of July 2022.

It is our responsibility to prepare pupils for the ever-changing, digital work of the 21st Century. Therefore, we are looking for a teacher who is willing to embrace the ethos of teaching a knowledge rich, purposeful, and project-based curriculum, through the meaningful use of technology. To be successful, you must demonstrate that you are willing to teach innovatively and reflectively, as well being prepared to collaborate with teams of colleagues. You must also be open to delivering high quality lessons and projects in a way that blends physical and digital learning environments, through video calling and online resources. The successful candidate will be keen to support and build on the international reputation that the school has for digitally integrated teaching.
