Chaulden Juniors is a small school with a big heart! We are a 2 form entry junior school, in spacious grounds, on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead. As part of Spiral Partnership Trust, all of our staff enjoy great professional development opportunities, the chance to work with colleagues from our Spiral family of schools and enjoy the support and expertise of a strong primary support team. We work together to create excellent teaching.
Our school serves the local community. We work with parents and professional partners to support pupils and their families. We value each child for their unique talents and work hard to ensure they achieve the very best outcomes. Our ambition for every child is that they enjoy a rich and stimulating learning experience, and leave us well prepared for the next step in their education journey.
This is a permanent full time position from September 2022. However, for the right candidate a job-share/part time role will be considered (salary to be pro-rata'd)
Visits to the school are encouraged and warmly welcomed.
Applications will be reviewed as they are received.
Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We are legally obliged to ask you to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK. If you are invited to interview, you will be asked to provide appropriate documents such as your full birth certificate/passport/work permit in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on all applicants. This will include an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service and satisfactory references.
Spiral Partnership Trust’s vision is to provide all children with an excellent education which reflects their individual needs and enables them to achieve their potential. We are committed to raising standards in education and to sharing our knowledge and experience with others as well as learning from them. We want to create environments where children love learning and develop the self-confidence to aim high in all that they do. We work to create schools which will be a first choice for parents and staff.
