KS2 Teacher, full time, permanent job summary
We are looking to appoint a permanent, full-time teacher to join the teaching team at Westcliff Primary Academy in Dawlish. Ideally the successful candidate would teach Key Stage 2 from September 2022.
We are seeking a teacher who wants to work with all members of the community and school, to provide the children with the very best education. Teachers at Westcliff thrive on challenge, have good curriculum knowledge and are passionate about providing a stimulating and purposeful environment so that children are encouraged to reach their full potential in moral, academic, social and spiritual education. In return, we can offer you a supportive environment within a friendly team, with the added advantage of working closely with other schools within the hub and across the Trust.
Westcliff Primary Academy part of First Federation Trust, which has been a multi academy trust for 10 years. Our trust started life as a small group of schools in South Devon and our founding schools have been working together since 2006. We now have member schools across Devon.
Our family of 16 schools are a wonderfully diverse mixture. They range from 2 class village schools to larger coastal town schools. Currently we are sponsoring five schools through their improvement journey whilst continuing to support our converter schools.

Westcliff Primary Academy is a large, coastal Primary School which became part of the ‘First Federation Trust’ on 1st February 2016. The First Federation is a Multi-Academy Trust of primary schools across Devon. (To see other schools that are in the Trust, please click here).
We currently have over 360 children on roll, split into 13 classes. We aim to provide a caring, safe and stimulating environment for all children to learn. Each child is supported and encouraged to do their best and take part in a wide range of opportunities and experiences building happy memories of their school days.
