KS2 Teacher Maternity Cover job summary
The Governing Body of this vibrant, exciting and ambitious National Teaching School is seeking to appoint a part-time teacher to cover the maternity leave of one of our teachers. We maintain a welcoming, inclusive ethos and want someone who will join our strong staff team. This role will be teaching in our Year 6 class, job-sharing the class with an experienced established member of staff. Working days can be arranged by negotiation, but Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday would be preferred. It is expected that this part-time contract will last until 4th April 2022. We are committed to professional development and the MAT and teaching school alliance has structures in place to support career progression.

Monk Fryston Church of England Primary School is a very successful school serving the villages of Monk Fryston and Hillam. There are currently 204 children on roll.
We are a Church of England School and our links with the Church are strong. In May 2018 we converted to become an academy and were one of the first members of the STAR Multi-Academy Trust. From September 2019 our school ‘federated’ with Saxton CE Primary School and the schools work very closely together. There is a shared leadership arrangement working under a single governing body. The school has a happy, family atmosphere. The children here are well motivated and we have high expectations of them. Teaching is of a very high standard and our results over several years have been exemplary. The teachers work as a strong team, together with non-teaching staff, parents and governors.
