KS2 Teacher (Part time) job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher to join our dedicated KS2 team (within a Year 5 & 6 combined class) at our caring and friendly primary school in rural North Dorset.
This will be a permanent position working as a job share teaching on two days a week 0.4. As a fairly large primary school many of our part-time teachers have had the opportunities, if they wish, to teach full-time timetables.
This post commences from 1st November 2021 (the start of the 2nd Half of the Autumn Term 2021). However, if this start date is not feasible, it might be possible to commence on 1st January 2022
The successful candidate will:
• Be an enthusiastic & highly motivated teacher with KS2 experience (although we warmly welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers)
• Have high expectations of children’s learning and behaviour and create a dynamic learning environment.
• Be able to build excellent relationships with our children, staff and parents
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Promote the social and emotional development of pupils, manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe learning environment.
