What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed main scale teacher to join our dedicated, friendly team.

We are a small primary school, based in rural Northamptonshire, working in partnership with Glapthorn CE Primary as part of The Rutland Learning Trust.

This teacher will be placed with a mixed year class..This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to develop their knowledge and skills in a forward thinking, creative and vibrant school, as we embark on the next stage of our whole school development journey.Some leadership opportunities may be available for experienced candidates.

Main purpose

Teachers make the education of their pupils their first concern and are accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct. Teachers act with honesty and integrity; have strong subject knowledge, keep their knowledge and skills as teachers up-to-date and are self-critical; forge positive professional relationships; and work with parents in the best interests of their pupils.

The teacher will:

  • Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document
  • Meet the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
