What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will be expected to have high expectations in all areas of school life and a passion for ensuring the highest possible outcomes for pupils. The Governing Body wish to appoint a highly motivated and committed class teacher, with the vision and enthusiasm to build upon our successes to date.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Their ability as an excellent classroom practitioner, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning at all times;
  • Passion for learning and the ability to encourage, enthuse, motivate & inspire our children through our engaging curriculum and stimulating learning environments;
  • Commitment to school improvement and the aims, purpose & Catholic ethos of our school;
  • High expectations of pupil achievement and pupil behaviour and have a clear vision of excellence in both key stages;
  • Commitment to the development of supportive relationships between home, school and outside agencies and be an effective communicator with all members of the school community.
  • A willingness to take responsibility for leading a subject area.
