Tyndale Community School started in September 2013, making it one of the newest schools in Oxford. As a school community which is defined by its Christian ethos, we are motivated in achieving our mission “to empower every student to achieve personal and academic success, resulting in ambitious goals being fulfilled for themselves and their community.”

Tyndale Community School is a diverse school in East Oxford, where 37 different languages are represented and many more nationalities.

We are a two-form entry school which means that teachers work collaboratively together in planning, teaching, and assessment. As we continue to develop our bespoke curriculum, we ensure that it is Enquiry Led- and that children are thoughtfully and creatively asking and answering big questions such as How did we all get here? and What is revealed by what is left behind?

If you are looking for a school that:

Develops its staff through high quality CPD, mentoring and coaching;

Has great relationships with pupils, parents and the local community;

Wants to make a difference in the local community and beyond by improving educational outcomes of children;

Has laughter in the corridors, staffroom and classrooms

…Then Tyndale Community School is for you!
