The successful candidate will:

  • Have high expectations for all children with an understanding of how to ensure excellent progress
  • Have experience in successfully leading a subject area with whole school impact
  • Be a role model for teaching and pedagogical excellence
  • Lead a subject or group of subjects across school – subject to negotiation based on expertise/interests
  • Be willing to participate fully in the wider curricular life of the school
  • Commitment and aspiration to excel professionally
  • Have experience as a strong KS2 practitioner
