What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors of Saint Thomas Junior School would like to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious teacher to work in Key Stage 2, committed to raising standards and developing outstanding practice within the school. To start September 2024, the post is full time and permenant.

Applicants should be able to bring to the school:

• Indepth knowledge in English (reading and writing) across KS2.

• A proven track record of improving standards and attainment in a core subject.

• A passion for working with children from some challenging backgrounds and a willingness to work to drive change and improvement.

• A proven track record of high quality teaching and learning.
• High expectations for behaviour and standards
• Excellent interpersonal skills when working with pupils colleagues and parents.
