What skills and experience we're looking for

The ideal candidate will:

  • promote a caring and supportive environment in which children can flourish and succeed

  • have high expectations alongside a positive, nurturing approach

  • have practical, school-based experience of planning and delivering tasks to support children with a range of needs

  • be organised and reflective in developing practice

  • demonstrate effective team working skills

  • have a good standard of English and Maths

  • Be committed to embedding our school vision for all children and adults, ‘to be confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens’

We are keen to consider applicants with an interest and experience in planning and delivering whole class lessons with support. This would be paid at a higher Grade 4 rate as applicable for the right candidate.

Copdock is a small, rural village school which is part of a federation with Bentley CEVC Primary School, sharing an Executive Headteacher and one Governing Board.
